This website is operated by Daniella Ruru, an intuitive healing and women’s wellness practitioner based in New South Wales, Australia. References to “I,” “me,” or “my” in this policy refer to Daniella Ruru as a sole trader.

What Information I Collect

I collect personal information only when it is necessary for providing my services or communicating with you. This may include:

Booking information — session type, date, and any intake notes you choose to provide when booking through Wix Bookings
Payment information — I do not collect or store card or account details. Payments are made via direct bank transfer; my banking details are shared with you directly by email and are not stored on this website.

Newsletter subscription — your email address if you choose to subscribe

Sensitive Information

Where Your Data Is Stored

This website is hosted on Wix (wix.com), and bookings are managed through Wix Bookings. Wix stores and processes data on servers that may be located outside Australia, including in the United States. Email communications are sent and received via my email provider. I do not use a third-party CRM to store client records beyond what Wix Bookings captures at the point of booking.

Disclosure of Your Information

I do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. I will not share your information with third parties except:

Where required by Australian law or a court order
With service providers who help operate this website (i.e. Wix), bound by confidentiality obligations
With your explicit consent

How Long I Keep Your Information

Booking records are retained for a reasonable period consistent with standard business recordkeeping (generally up to seven years for financial records, as required by Australian taxation law). You may request deletion of your personal information at any time, subject to any legal obligations I have to retain certain records.

About These Terms

These terms govern your use of this website and the services offered by Daniella Ruru (ABN: [insert ABN]), a sole trader based in NSW, Australia. These terms are subject to the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and, where applicable, applicable NSW law.

Nature of Services

Daniella Ruru offers intuitive coaching, distance energy healing (reiki), oracle card readings, birth story listening, and online women’s circles. These services are provided as emotional and spiritual support and are:

Not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, psychiatric, or therapeutic services
Not diagnosis, treatment, or clinical intervention of any kind
Delivered by a qualified life coach and intuitive practitioner, not a registered health professional

Bookings

Bookings for free 15-minute connection calls may be made directly through this website via Wix Bookings. All other session bookings are confirmed by direct communication (email). A booking is considered confirmed once you have received a written confirmation from Daniella Ruru.

Payment

Payment is due prior to or at the time of each session unless otherwise agreed in writing. Payment is made by direct bank transfer to the details provided by Daniella via email. Sessions will not proceed until payment has been received or an alternative arrangement has been agreed.

All prices are listed in Australian dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of any applicable GST where required.

Client Responsibilities

By booking a session, you confirm that you:

Are 18 years of age or older
Are engaging with these services voluntarily and of your own accord
Understand the non-clinical nature of the work
Will seek appropriate professional support if you are in acute mental health distress
Will join sessions via a stable internet connection at an agreed time

Confidentiality

Everything shared within sessions is held in strict confidence. I will not disclose the content of your sessions to any third party, with the following exceptions:

Where I am required to do so by Australian law
Where there is a risk of harm to you or others, in which case I may refer you to appropriate services
Where you have given explicit written consent

Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, and brand materials — is the intellectual property of Daniella Ruru and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, Daniella Ruru is not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental loss arising from your use of this website or participation in sessions. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of NSW.

Cancellations & Refunds

Applies to all paid sessions and packages.

Cancellation by You

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please let me know as soon as possible by email.

48 hours or more before your session — Full refund or reschedule at no charge.
Less than 48 hours before your session — Session fee is forfeited, or may be rescheduled once at my discretion.
No-show (no contact) — Session fee is forfeited in full.

In genuine emergencies or exceptional circumstances, please reach out directly and I will always do my best to find a compassionate resolution.

Packages

If you have purchased a session package (e.g. 3 x follow-up sessions), individual sessions within the package may be rescheduled with 48 hours notice. Packages are non-transferable. Refunds for unused sessions within a package are provided only in exceptional circumstances at my discretion.

Women’s Circles

Circle bookings are non-refundable once the circle date is within 48 hours. If you notify me more than 48 hours before, I can transfer your payment to a future circle.

Free 15-Minute Connection Calls

These are offered complimentarily. If you are unable to attend, please let me know so I can offer the time to someone else. No charge applies.

Cancellation by Me

In the unlikely event that I need to cancel a confirmed session, I will notify you as soon as possible and offer either a full refund or a rescheduled appointment at a time that suits you.

Refund Process

Refunds are returned via bank transfer to the account from which payment was made, within 5 business days of the cancellation being confirmed.

Australian Consumer Law

This policy operates alongside your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights or remedies you may have under the ACL.
